Property of Ones Pattern, Sort of

Finished Ones

I used a baby blue, 10 stitches/inch (?) cross stitch canvas (the color of the “wall” behind the bottles).

The floss colors (cross stitch thread is called floss) are:

  1. 310 Black (bottle tops)
  2. 3755 Baby Blue (“table”)
  3. 434 Lt Brown (normal bottle color)
  4. LT977 Golden Brown (bottle highlights)
  5. 321 Red (words)
  6. UA25 White (bottle labels)
  7. 801D Coffee Brown (dark right edge of bottle)

Cold Ones “Pattern”

This is a .pdf of the “pattern” I used to make my “Property of Ones” cross stitch. It’s not a complicated pattern, but you have to pay attention to a few of things.

  • There are 3 different scales going on there, mostly for visibility while I was working.
  • The little red letters on the bottles won’t fit nicely – you’re going to have to estimate where a “half” a square is. My labels took a LOT of patience.
  • My words aren’t centered beneath the bottles like they should be. You should do your own figgering for the center of the slogan, and then center it with respect to the bottles. You don’t need to be as wonky as me.

Good luck! I hope this helps!

  1. Do you think you could take some extreme closeups of the lettering (both small and large)? I’m having trouble understanding just how you did them. Thanks!
